Another Relic has come to appreciate the brand that is BMW. Danny was up from Montreal for my brothers move and I had booked the day of to help as well. The sun was out and that called for Motorbikes. Now Jake had mentioned 1 day earlier that he would be away and that the K was up for grabs & unbeknownst to him Dan was in town at the same time. One call was all it took to hook D with the K.
On Saturday we help my brother pack the van in PQ. We left his place and stopped in the hamlet to park the truck and pick up the bikes. The final destination was Embrun (35 minutes relaxed time). I wheeled the K out of Jakes garage and rode it to my house. I gave Dan a quick instructional and off we went. We had a great time riding as we hit some tarmac slab going out and some rural roads on the approach to Embrun. We helped with the move and headed back via Metcalf. Dan will have to give the details but it was a nice sunny ride and he had no issues riding that sophisticated Bavarian missile. I think the unit sales count for BMW will be +1 soon enough.
