Indian summer has passed....

Winter is surely on it's way. How do I know? The cold? The early setting sun? Nope! I dont have a bike- thats how.. Yup, another one bites the dust. Had a good time with the KLR and wish it could have stayed but I must move on to other bikes! Too many bikes and not enough days (scratch that, cash is the operative word). Was there a definitive moment when I knew the bike had to go. Well there were a few actually. That hell trip to Montreal, some bland highway runs (notice a trend here) and a few oops moments alone on the trails. I figure my highway riding is in a much higher percentage than what I had originally figured. I also have plans to go to the States for one of the runs- either Americade or Laconia. That would be brutal on the KLR in my opinion.

What next? That depends. It's gotta be funky, it has to be comfortable and roll 2 up on occasion. 6 speed is a must. Panniers, heated grips and shaft drive a very major plus and most important, sorta cheap!
