Lost my password and finally decided to look it up and change it!
Now back to our regularly scheduled program.
T100
3200 uninterupted kilometers this year. More than I planned actually. Season still not over.
Made the LP run, cottage camping trip, 2 comutes, two up dinner ride, and plenty of liquid refreshment runs.
Thoughts: She's a gem. A little more umph than the first Bonnie and a warp speed, hang on type of beast compared to the Ural.
Changes made- same as my last Triump (except the new shocks.. Had I did that to the last Bonnie, she may have stayed longer.... Maybe). Only thing missing is the oil cooler guard- but ill do that mod this winter.
The bike is solid.. Speedy enough and now very comy due to the new rear shocks and raised (1 inch) rear end.
The Heidenau tires are loud from 30-90 kph but the howl disapears after 100. I have a spare rim and street tire for next year- just need to find a front.
She's a keeper.... But Ive said that before.
Do I miss the Ural.. Not really. Im a bike guy and three wheels was fun. But I miss two wheels when they were gone.
Miss the BMW? Hmmmmm I miss the idea of it but not the reality... No time to wrench just to ride.. Ill cop out and take a modern classic for now.
