Summer is here Hockey is done

Well I had a great post.. It was all written out.. 400 words... And then I pressed the wrong button.. Whammo.

Lets try it again.
Habs lost, they are out.

Bikes- The BMW is nearly done. Fuel system needs to be assembled. I had 2 weeks of vacay and I swore it was going to be done. Well....
Ural- Running like a champ.. Installed seat belt and had kids out for rides.. They of course love it and Lots of thumbs up from passerby's
T- I installed Pannier rail (happy trail system) and Coyote Trip 7.5 panniers. Finally going to go to Lake Placid with hard bags so no more bungeeeeee's. Im also going to carry more fuel as I have a spare fuel bottle tagging along. I have the smallest tank than all the other lads..
Same guys going barring any unforseen issues. Also same hotel..

Bicycles- well neat thing is Ive had my Eclipse race bike up to the Gats 2x.. First loop was 1.47 and a week later did it in 1,36 ( My worst times ever- 1.55 and best 1.05) that was when I was training a few (11 years back) for the 24hr races.
Ive commuted on the touring bike since March and used it to haul gear and kids.. 2/3 of the bike train has been assembled.. Just need to throw the trailer on.

Another neat thing recently was meeting a long lost friend. Biage and I bumped into each other at Fortune. Hes still riding MTB bikes and the last time we rode was 10 years ago. He raced on one of our teams.. Great guy and plan to keep in touch. So thats two guys that Ive re-aquainted from when I first moved here... Denis being the other.. Good 2014 goals!!
