I have done what I never thought I would do. I sold my car. Gone is my 10 yr old Honda CR-V. This is the first time in 18 yrs that I haven't owned an automobile. I am down to my KLR. Truth be told I am looking forward to it as I will have to rely on the motorcycle for my personal motorized transportation needs.... (OK... Lies! my better half has a car and Im pretty sure that it will be pressed into service when needed).
To that effect I need cargo space. I promised myself that if the Honda sold, Id get nice aluminum panniers. Well I pulled the trigger on the Happy Trails Teton. They should be here in two weeks. Ill post pictures of them on the bike when they are mounted. So far 830K on the bike this year. Id like to get 10K.
