I arrived at the cottage charged. All was well as the sun was out and there was Green Mountain coffee to be had. I had a fast visit with the folks. Delivered the requisite news from the big city and took my leave. I decided a 2 hr stay was all that was allowed as I had to make tracks back to the home front as there were diapers to attended to.
Dan and his brood were all there and the kids were outside playing a killer game of Star Wars chess. We wasted no time in laying waste to the coffee pot and made our way to the great outdoors to fire up the Cubans (wisely banned from the cottage by Sue). Being the tough guy I decided to spark the tobacco on the ascent (to inspect construction of a new and unwanted- in my eye- coms tower). I figured it a good tool for off the job training. The tower was a letdown as they had only poured the footings. We headed back and said our goodbye's- Well not before Dan had a go at the KLR. Of course the camera had to come out. He can tell the rest later. Hmm perhaps we'll have another KLR'ista out on the roads (or a KLR convert- c'mon Jake you know you wanna).
